Ushers
The membership of the Usher's Ministry consists of adult men and women and youth male and females. An Usher is the first person a worshipper will see when they enter a church. As such the ministry shall strive to give each worshipper a good spiritual start in the worship service. Their duty and desire is to serve the Lord and their Pastor.
Transportation
The purpose of this ministry is to provide transportation services for members of Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church. The ministry will support church services and activities. The ministry will also strive to support an outreach to persons who don't know Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Church School
The membership of the Church School ministry consists of adult men, women and youth. The ministry shall endeavor to guide Christian men, women, boys and girls in the careful study of God's word, to lay a foundation on Christian values and principles.
Deacons Ministry
The Deacon Ministry consists of a body of wise Christian men, full of the
Holy Ghost who have been proved and found blameless. Their duty and
desire is to serve the Lord.

New Membership Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to help believers mature and grow in Christ. The ministry provides a seven (7) week training courses. This course of instructions is designed for adults and children who unite with Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church.
Choir Ministry
The purpose of the Music Ministry is to serve and worship the Lord Jesus Christ through the service we render to humanity, and to the Church of which we are members. The membership consists of any male or female who have received fellowship. They have given God their heart and the Pastor their hand as a member of the Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church. They are willing and committed to singing.
Pastor's AIDE Ministry
The membership of this ministry shall include all members of the church body. They are to especially make provision for both the physical and social well being of the Pastor. Their duties and desires are to serve the Lord and their Pastor.
Trustee Ministry
The Trustee Ministry consists of a body of wise Christian men and women, full of the Holy Ghost who have been proved and found blameless. Their duty and desire is to serve the Lord. (Acts 6:3, 1 Timothy 2:10)
Deaconess Ministry
The Deaconess Ministry consists of a body of wise Christian women, full of the Holy Ghost. They are found to be grave, not slanders, sober, faithful in all things. Their duty and desire is to serve the Lord. (1 Timothy 3:11)
Family and Friends
The membership of this ministry consists of adult men and women and youth. Under the direction of the Pastor, the ministry strives to plan and implement worship services and programs. The programs will highlight, strengthen and promote the practice of worship and bringing together family and friends. Their duty and desire is to serve the Lord and their Pastor.
Hospitality Ministry
The membership of this ministry is open to the entire church body. Their desire is to provide support in the form of love, care, compassion and charity.
Youth Ministry
The purpose of the Youth Ministry is to minister to children and youth ages six (6) to eighteen (18) years who attend Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church. The ministry will accomplish this goal through the use of special programs and activities.

Prayer Warriors
The Prayer Warriors (Intercessors) Ministry is designed to intercede for the Pastor, the church and its many ministries. The ministry consists of faithful church members who are committed to the power of prayer. Their duty and desire is to serve the Lord.
Pastor's Helpers
This ministry is designed for outreach and recruitment. It will strive to bring members and non-members into the Church School Ministry.
Bereavement Ministry
The purpose of the ministry is to render to families in their time of bereavement a labor of love, patience, kindness and understanding in preparing for the home going services of their loved ones.
Drama Ministry
The Drama Ministry is composed of adults and youth whose aim is to "reveal the word of God through dramatic interpretation." The ministry will help make the complete concept of Christianity as a lifestyle to be lived, rather than just a belief that is held. Their duty and desire is to serve the Lord.
Single's Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to encourage single individuals to share with each other their thoughts and feelings about being single in today's society. The ministry membership is open to all males and females desiring to fellowship.
Family / Marriage Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to strengthen the institution of marriage, the family structure, the home and the community. The ministry is open for membership to married couples in the church.
Sick Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to provide visitation to members of Mount Olive Primitive Baptist Church who are convalescing at home, hospitals and nursing homes. Membership is open to the entire church body.
